Perwyn is pleased to announce the appointment of Maxime Menu as an Investment Manager in the Private Equity team.  Maxime joins from OMERS Private Equity, where he worked as a Senior Associate.

His experience includes working on majority, direct control buyouts with target equity investments of around $300-600m.  A fluent French and English speaker, he also speaks Italian and German and has worked on many transactions across Europe, with a particular focus on the UK, France, and Benelux.

His team at OMERS, led by recent Perwyn recruit Martin Le Huray, managed an asset portfolio valued at around $14.8bn.  Maxime held asset management responsibility for Alexander Mann Solutions, a leading global total workforce solutions firm, where he notably worked on the acquisition of The Up Group, and for ERM, the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy.  Whilst at OMERS, Maxime was also tasked with origination and execution responsibility in the software and healthcare sectors across Europe.

He started his career in investment banking at Lazard, in the Healthcare M&A team, where he advised Skyepharma on its £1bn all-share merger with Vectura.  Subsequently, as part of the Restructuring team, Maxime advised on the $2.5bn capital restructuring of Danaos Shipping Company.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics (Distinction, Dean’s List) from Oxford University and prior qualifications from Warwick University (First Class) and Institut Florimont in Geneva.

Andrew Wynn, Founder and Managing Partner, said: “We continue to grow our team in line with our business and portfolio growth and we are delighted to welcome Maxime, our sixth recruit this year.  We have a special interest in tech enabled services, as well as a particular focus on Western Europe, and his background and experience fit perfectly with this.”
