Perwyn is delighted to announce that Gurinder Sunner has been appointed as a Partner.

Gurinder joins Perwyn from BGF, where he has worked since 2011.  At BGF, Gurinder led the investment team in the Midlands and Milton Keynes and was a member of BGF’s Investment Committee.  He led over 20 transactions at BGF, with notable investments and exits including Chase Distillery, ReBound Returns, GCI, Victoria, and CHS Healthcare.

Prior to his career at BGF, Gurinder worked at BDO, where his responsibilities included distressed transactions during the 2008 recession, alongside other corporate finance work.  Key deals included acting on the buyside for LDC’s acquisition of the Emergency Services division of Homeserve Plc (later Evander) and the sale of Wolseley Plc’s entire Irish operations.

Gurinder began his career at KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and he holds a BSc (Hons) Money, Banking and Finance degree from the University of Birmingham.
