Perwyn backed Secret Sales, the fast-growing premium off-price e-commerce platform for fashion, footwear, accessories, beauty, and homeware, has linked up with ASOS, the British online fashion and cosmetic retailer.
The partnership between Secret Sales and ASOS covers a selection of up to 1,000 products from ASOS’s own brands, including Collusion, Reclaimed Vintage, Topshop, Topman, ASOS Design, and Miss Selfridge. These products are no longer available on ASOS, but are now housed on the Secret Sales platform. The inventory will be refreshed fortnightly with plans in the pipeline to widen the selection of products available.
Jag Weatherley, Corporate Transformation Director at ASOS, said:“We are pleased to be offering Secret Sales customers access to ASOS products for the first time. It has been a huge effort from everyone involved to get this partnership up and running in such a short space of time. We are looking forward to developing our relationship with Secret Sales”.
Matt Purt, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Secret Sales, also commented: “Our focus is in helping brands and retailers deliver a long-term sustainable and profitable solution to clear non-full-price inventory, without having to compromise on margin or erode brand equity. We are incredibly excited to be welcoming ASOS to our Secret Sales seller community and supporting their long-term strategy for managing off-price inventory.”
Ravi Sharma, Partner at Perwyn, added: “Perwyn led the investment rounds in Secret Sales in 2021 and 2022 to support the ambitions of the business, and we have been very impressed with the company’s execution on its growth strategy. This partnership with ASOS, the hugely popular fashion retailer, is a significant milestone in Secret Sales’ journey to become the world’s largest marketplace for non-full-price fashion.”
