Atec is an insurance distribution and growth platform consisting of Ceta, a leading digital niche personal lines broker, and a Managing General Agent (MGA) called Arkel. The business designs, distributes and underwrites a range of specialist home and leisure insurance products within the UK wholesale and retail personal lines market on behalf of over 360,000 policyholders, including through its proprietary ‘insuremy’ and ‘compare’ portals. In August 2024, Perwyn invested alongside the incumbent management team and new Chairman Matthew Donaldson (founder of Compare the Market) in a bilateral transaction to support the next stage of the business’s growth.
